This charming map of the northeastern United States covers the area north of Pennsylvania along the watershed of the St. Lawrence River up to Lake Erie. Though ‘part of Canada’ is included within the image (and the title), detail is extremely limited on the British possession.
On the American side, primary urban centers are labeled among the various states and the District of Maine, whose northern border is shown along the prominent Green Mountain range that runs nearly the entire length of the map. Other ranges, like the Blue Mountains and Alleghenies, are also labeled and depicted in hachure.
