This wonderful catalog highlights all the offerings of the Rome, Watertown, and Ogdensburg Railroad for the summer of 1896. The railway operated along the southern coast of Ontario and the St. Lawrence River beginning with its origins as the Watertown & Rome Railroad (1842) until it was absorbed by the New York Central (1913). Niagara Falls, the Adirondacks, and Thousand Island are just a few of the destinations accessible along the ‘Hojack Line’ and its connections. The booklet includes several folding maps:
Bird’s Eye View of the Tourist’s Ideal Route From Niagara to the Sea – 22.8″ x 7.8″, moderately damp stained and one small tear that’s been repaired on the verso.
Pathfinder Railway Map – 23.25″ x 27″, minor paper and image loss from where roughly removed from the binding. Separation along fold lines.

The Adirondack Region as Reached by the Rome Watertown and Ogdensburg R.R. – 13.5″ x 14″, with a large tear and minor paper loss where roughly removed from the binding. Bonheur RW&O 23.5″ x 7.5″, in very good condition.
Niagara Falls, White Mountains and New England Coast Line – 20.9″ x 8.5″, in very good condition. Map of the Rome, Watertown & Ogdensburg Railroad and Connections – 11″ x 10.25″ with heavy damp staining and tearing.
