This post-WWII strip map highlights the North-South Fast Route along U.S. Highways 241 and 19 from Nashville, Tennessee, to Thomasville, Georgia and the Florida State Line. It was issued by the North-South Fast Route Association of Huntsville, Alabama to promote the use of the manufactured route and thus support the local businesses in towns along the way.
A rubberstamp at the bottom indicates this example was distributed by the Piney Woods Cottages in Thomasville. A mileage chart and short summaries of the primary towns (and members of the North-South Fast Route Association) are provided on the verso.
