Description
This fantastic early road map of New England was published by the Automobile Club of America (AAA) in 1922. Issued in part to promote automobile tourism throughout the region, in particular the Berkshires, the pocket map also includes AAA recommended hotels in several cities throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island.
Inset maps of the major urban areas, along with customized directions to each advertised hotel, are presented on the verso. A distance table between notable points along the real tour of the Berkshires is also included on the verso.

Condition Description: Two stains on the left side from adhesive used to affix the map to the original paper covers (still present and in good shape). Creasing and moderate wear along fold lines, including 3" of separation on the right side which has been repaired on the verso.
