Sailing Down Boston Bay
$50.00
Narrative perspective of a trip down the Boston Bay with two fold out maps.
Description
This charming account of a leisurely trip down the Boston Bay is written by Edward Rowe Snow, a prolific 20th century author who wrote extensively about New England coastal history. Descriptions and photographs of the various points, islands, lighthouses and harbors that can be seen are provided alongside two fold out maps.
The first, measuring 12 x 16, is a historic and pictorial map of Boston Harbor and Massachusetts Bay showing ships, sea monsters, and locations of note (current and historical). The second map is smaller (measuring 10 x 9) and more practical, showing the location of the numerous islands to be found while on a cruise through the harbor.
