Description
This map shows the process of transformation from the former Indian Territory into the state of Oklahoma as complete, except for the official postal address of the sponsoring organization. Though a number of tribal reservations remain within the image, the last parcel of the previously indigenous territory is shown by numbered lots. Fitting, considering the distributor was a local real estate firm.
