Description
This uncommon map of Oklahoma was published in June, 1939 by the Department of Agricultural Economics at Oklahoma A&M College (today’s Oklahoma State) in Stillwater. Thousands of census tracts across the Sooner State have been carefully marked according to their land ownership category – privately owned, tax-free, corporately owned, and unclassified.
Designed to accompany Oklahoma land ownership study : preliminary report, authored by Randall Telford Klemme and W. L. Blizzard of the Agricultural Experimentation Station (not included). Scarce, with only one entry noted in OCLC at Oklahoma State University Library.
