Mount Snow Vermont

Trail map for Mount Snow in Vermont designed by a prominent local artist.

After serving in World War II, Robert Vogel took a trip to Vermont and immediately fell in love. He moved there shortly thereafter and created commercial artwork for General Electric for over 15 years before starting his own successful business. He painted commercially and as a hobby well into his 90’s, and he drew this map of Mount Snow ski trails around his professional retirement in the mid-1980s.

An attractive outline of the slopes are marked with green, blue, and black routes, facilities, and lifts. Snowmaking trails are highlighted in yellow and account for more than 70% of all skiable terrain, according to a note in the lower right.
