Description

One of Canada’s earliest Grand Railway Hotels, the Banff Springs Hotel first opened in 1888 along the lines of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Though it was destroyed by a fire in 1926, it was quickly rebuilt and remains one of the most luxurious hotels available in the region today.

This little booklet was distributed to guests at the hotel in 1935. A few pages of text highlight the various amenities and recreational opportunities, while a centerfold provides a photographic bird’s eye view of the hotel and its surroundings, including the nearby town of Banff.
