Description
This somewhat rustic promotional map of Cape Cod was likely issued in the late 1930s or 1940s by the New England Map Company. A basic transportation map of the island identifies primary transportation routes, geographic features, and several locations of interest. Other historic sites, attractions, and recreational opportunities are represented with a variety of illustrated vignettes.

Condition Description: Heavy wear along the left and right edges of the sheet, including several closed tears that have been repaired on the verso with archival tape. A small chip on the right side, smaller than a dime, has resulted in minor image loss. Scattered soiling visible in the lower left corner. Between fair and good condition overall.
