Description
This comprehensive examination on the first three centuries of America’s history was compiled by a talented student apparently named Hulda Sander (according to the faint signature on the front cover). A generalized overview of the U.S. from its original Native American inhabitants through the (second) presidency of Grover Cleveland is examined through a mix of thoughtful questions and answers.
In addition to dozens of pages of handwritten text – both in essay form and direct question & answer – the high-school level history guide contains manuscript drawings of important inventions and historic sites, custom maps, a chronology, and more. The content’s emphasis on political history is evident, but there are a few interesting sections covering Native Americans, important inventions, and the development of nationality.
