White Horse Blended Scotch Whisky Authentic Map of the World circa 1742

Celebrating 250 years of White Horse whisky (probably)!

Description
This charming (reproduction) world map in a decorative frame was issued as a promotional item for White Horse Blended Scotch Whisky. Though undated, it was likely distributed in 1992 to correspond with the sesquicentennial of The White Horse Cellar.
Like the map itself, the narrative is a bit misleading. While Edinburgh’s White Horse Cellar, a coaching inn, was established in 1742, the blended Scotch whisky that shares its name wasn’t first distilled until the 1880s. Variations are still produced by Diageo in Scotland today.
