Description

The world of Warhammer began as a tabletop board game created by Bryan Ansell, Richard Halliwell, and Rick Priestley that was first published by Games Workshop in 1983. The high-fantasy setting centered around miniature figurines would become immensely popular and grow into a media empire spanning video games, novels, and more.

This map covers the regions known as The Old World, the Dark Lands, and Araby. Various pictorial elements highlight locations of interest, geographic features, and settlements inhabited by races and nations such as Bretonnia, Skaven, Orcs, Empire, and Lizardmen. An inset in the upper left shows the relative scope of the image in relation to the rest of the Warhammer world.

The map was created by Simon Smith and published by Games Workshop Ltd. in 1994. Originally included in an issue of White Dwarf, the official Warhammer magazine, as a reference for players.
