Ward Map Lakefront City (1920 – 1940)
Game map for the first edition of TSR’s RPG, Gangbusters.

Description
This rather stereotypical map of Lakefront City (analogous to Chicago) was published by TSR Hobbies, Inc. to accompany the first edition of its tabletop roleplaying game, Gangbusters. Players take the role of criminal kingpins, investigative reporters, corrupt police, or even more corrupt politicians as they struggle for power, money, and truth during the Prohibition Era. The setting reflects the unfortunate stereotypes of the time, with land divided between working class ethnicities, a ‘black ghetto’, the ‘Jewish Lower Class’, and others.
