The beloved Walt Disney animated film Peter Pan was based on the 1904 play Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up by J. M. Barrie and first released in the United States in 1953. Though it was criticized for not more closely following the story of the original upon which it was based (and today, how it depicts Native Americans), the movie was a contemporary hit and spawned numerous re-releases and related media.

This board game, a licensed Walt Disney Production, was created in New York in 1953 by the Transogram Company to promote the release of the film. Numerous characters and locations from the movie are prominently featured throughout, though the addition of Never Isle allows for unique routes for the four playable characters – Michael, John, Peter Pan, and Wendy.
