This lively poster map of Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida was sold as a souvenir around 1991, shortly after the opening of Disney-MGM Studios and Typhoon Lagoon (the third and fourth parks, respectively). The vibrant image provides a stylized overview of ‘The Most Magical Place on Earth’ – significantly larger than its California counterpart at a whopping 40 square miles.
Numerous major attractions and amusements are illustrated across the four parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney-MGM, and Typhoon Lagoon), most of which remain accessible today. Dozens of prominent Disney characters ranging from Alice in Wonderland to Winnie the Pooh are engaged in a variety of fun and amusing activities. The Rescuers Down Under (released 1990) and the absence of anyone from Beauty and the Beast (1991) and Aladdin (1992) help to narrow the date range.
