This wonderful pictorial puzzle map of the United States was created around 1955, based on the litany of Disney characters scattered across the image (The Lady and the Tramp was released that year, the latest I can find). The cultural milieu of America has been transformed into a Walt Disney production, with the iconic personas of Mickey, Goofy, and Donald Duck joined by characters from numerous animated feature films. Vignettes highlight the history, industry, and agriculture of the various states, including Alaska and Hawaii via insets on the left side.

Created by Jaymay Specialty Company of Brooklyn, New York using characters licensed from Walt Disney Productions.
