Visitors Map of Victoria

Promotional map to the sites around Victoria, BC.

This visitor’s map of Victoria, British Columbia admittedly wouldn’t have been of much use to residents of the region. It was issued as a cooperative advertising effort between Sylvester U Drive (a rental car company) and Gray Line bus tours. Recommended automobile routes are highlighted in red, with Buchart’s Gardens boldly called out with a large arrow.

Steamship lines are also noted and a small captioned vignette in the upper left advertises ‘U-Fly’ planes offered by B.C. Air Lines. Suggested hotels, shops, and restaurants, as well as additional information on the Bucharts and Sunken Gardens, are provided on the verso.
