This bold physical map of Utah presents the state’s varied regional topography in a style unusual for most commercially published maps. The geographic variations between the Great Salt Lake Desert and the rugged Uinta Mountains are vividly highlighted in three dimensions, with bright color adding another element to the visual and tactile landscape.

Various elevations points are dotted throughout the image, while the boundaries of national parks and Native American reservations are noted. The legend accompanying the map shows the location of towns, mines, race tracks, landmarks, ranger stations, mountain passes, transportation routes, and even power line canyon crossings!

Created in 1995 by Hubbard Scientific using a base map designed by the H.M. Gousha Company.
