Description

This badge, possibly taken from a 1940’s Triumph Mayflower or Renown, is made from inlaid enamel and would have been found in the center of the car’s grille or attached to the hubcaps. Although the geography isn’t exactly precise, the general outline of the eastern hemisphere can be easily distinguished.

Triumph was a British car manufacturer from the 19th and 20th centuries who got its start in 1887 as a bicycle manufacturer. It was acquired by Leyland Motors in 1960, and the brand was retired in 1984.
