This map shows regional concentrations of 10 million+ Slavic Americans living across the United States in the years following World War II. Text in the lower left describes their major residences as large industrial centers like Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, and New York, but the numerous dots indicate many other large communities from coast to coast. Twelve national groups, from Macedonian to Carpatho Russian, are listed in the lower right.
