Interesting ‘throwback’ souvenir map from the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

This fun souvenir map of the Caribbean uses a number of historical visual elements to provide an antiquated aesthetic to a modern vacation. Decorative cartouches, a compass rose, and sailing ships are enclosed within a scrollwork border, while the title harkens back to the days of swashbuckling pirates and Spanish treasure galleons.

Various Royal Caribbean Cruise Line ports of call ranging from New Orleans to Barbados are noted with small anchors. Dated using the presence of the Song of America (launched in 1982) and the absence of a port of call at Labadee in Haiti (established in 1986).
