Description
This visually engaging and complex diagram outlines the physical composition and political alliances of the Verse, the in-universe setting for the hit sci-fi show Firefly. The White Sun shines brightly in the center, surrounded by several star systems under the control of different corporations/super governments. Space stations, relays, and space lanes are also noted according to the legend along the top of the page. The verso offers a planetary breakdown, organized by faction. According to the Firefly fan wiki;
“In 2008, Complete and Official Map of the Verse was created in lithograph form by graphic designer Geoffrey Mandel under the direction of Quantum Mechanix. It took two years to make this visual representation of The Verse using a braintrust of contributors that included Joss Whedon, Tim Minear, Jane Espenson, Brian Wiser and others.”

Condition Description: Color printed map on thick, glossy paper. Moderate wear along original folds, with some minor flaking to the color and wrinkles at fold joints. Significant extraneous creasing along the outer 1" of the sheet, likely where previously folded to accomodate a frame. Good condition overall.
