This tongue-in-cheek outline of the ‘United States of Dixie’ shows America from the perspective of a stereotypical southern. Geographic accuracy is…loose to say the least, and amusing nicknames for various “unimportant” regions can be seen along the extremities. Phonetically spelled place names (with an appropriate accent) are provided for each of the Southern states.
For any Yankees reading the map, a helpful ‘Dixie Dictionary’ is provided on the left side of the sheet.
