Description

One can envision J.H. Wood, Jr. and R.P. Paden shifting nervously in the boardroom at the Atlantic Refining Company’s Philadelphia Refinery in mid-June of 1950. General Manager and Assistant Manager, respectively, of the Atlantic Pipeline company, the pair brought along at least one copy of this informative and visual presentation on the subsidiary’s growth in the previous 30 odd years.

Twenty-six pages of text, presumably delivered orally, is accompanied by eighteen separate maps charting the expansion of the pipelines across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. A few lines are crossed out here and there and two different pages of text have been inserted, indicating the document was a draft and not intended for distribution.
