The Star Trek Universe A Map of Space in the 24th Century

Four quadrants, four empires – the Milky Way Galaxy in the 2300s.

“Like Earth today, the Star Trek universe of the 24th century is constantly evolving, as new planets are discovered and spatial borders shift with the tides of conflict and politics.”

This relatively basic map of the ‘southern’ Milky Way galaxy was published to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the hit series Star Trek. The majority of the image is partitioned between Alpha and Beta quadrants, with large areas occupied by the Cardassians, Romulans, Klingons, and the United Federation of Planets.

Only a handful of toponyms are provided, including Earth, Bajor, and a couple of wormholes. Charts and diagrams along the bottom of the sheet show the entire galaxy, the makeup of a sector, the location of the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yard, and the structure of a wormhole.
