This fun and colorful view presents a heavily stylized, though surprisingly effective, guide map of the New York City neighborhood of Soho. Known for its vibrant artist community, the area is well-represented with a bombastic blend of signage, architecture, local history, and tourist tips (rather than showcasing fine galleries). A history of Soho is provided in the lower left, while the outer margins contain a comprehensive business directory of retail shops, theaters, restaurants, and professional services.
The lively pictorial map was illustrated by David Russo (signed, lower right) and published in 1986 by Secret Beach Enterprises, Inc. Printed by Surrey Litho., inc. of New York. The piece was distributed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 104.3 FM WNCN, a classical radio station that was ultimately acquired by Clear Channel Broadcasting in 1993.

Condition Description: Color printed map on glossy paper. A 2" tear in the upper right margin (repaired on verso) and light wear along old folds. A smaller tear (also repaired) and small spot in the lower left corner. Very good condition overall.
