This amusing commentary on the popular sport of golf, based on a sketch by the talented Harry Furniss, was originally published in the September 27, 1890 issue of Punch, or the London Charivari. This example was likely issued the following year, as part of an anthology volume. The image pokes fun at the variety of activities that can be spotted on the golf course.
