Conferences and Divisions are listed in the lower corners, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks as the most recent additions (both founded in 1976).
Copyright 1982 by NFL Properties, Inc. Fans of the San Francisco 49ers will remember that year fondly, as the team won its first championship behind Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana. This example of the map is accompanied by several pieces of ephemera from the Washington Redskins, another significant name change that was long delayed until 2020.
