Description

This tactile topographic map of Napa Valley, California was produced by the region’s association of vintners to highlight the geography of the world-famous wine country. Sixteen separate areas define the sub-appellations of the broader Napa Valley label, applicable only to wines made within the valley and according to a very strict set of production laws. From the dry, cool mountains of Atlas Peak to the warm valley of St. Helena, there is a wide variety of terrain and microclimates that allow for a strong diversity in wine styles.
