Issued by the United States Geological Survey as Public Bulletin 507, the contents provide a wealth of details on the various mining districts across the Western United States.

Condition Description: 309 pp. octavo volume bound in original full red embossed cloth. Boards are worn show light water damage and an old coffee ring. Binding is tight and contents are generally in very good condition, with faint toning, scattered foxing, and a few small tears along the fore-edge. Includes all 17 maps, 16 of which are fold-outs that show some tearing (where bound) and light offsetting.
