Description
This action-packed poster was drawn by renowned Marvel comic book artist Walter Simonson and published in 1986 by Marvel Comics Group. It was designed to showcase the reading order of the comic books comprising the Mutant Massacre storyline, which took place across numerous issues of X-Men, Thor, X-Factor, and Power Pack.
The plot revolves around Mister Sinister’s Marauders attempting to eradicate the mutants residing under New York City, known as the Morlocks. Numerous groups of superheroes, many of which are illustrated throughout the sheet, team up to fight the threat, but their success is limited. One casualty of the fight is Angel, his final fate indeterminate.
