The Map Las Vegas – Las Vegas’ Guide for The Alternative Lifestyles

A gay guide to Las Vegas from the late 1990s.

This is a scarce example of Vol. 1 Ed. 12 (Holiday Edition!) of the Map, a self-described ‘Guide for The Alternative Lifestyles.’ A relatively straightforward map of the region between Interstate 95 and McCarran Airport shows major transportation routes and nearly 40 restaurants, bars, and clubs – many of which are advertised on the border. Unfortunately, it seems that most of the venues have since closed.

The verso provides a list of daily specials and events, as well as a holiday calendar – numerous Christmas and New Year’s parties! Designed by Marc Garcia. Published in Las Vegas in 1999 by Marc Anthony Productions, Inc.
