Description
The Lurking Horror was a text-based video game released for the personal computer and Commodore 64 by Infocom, Inc. in 1987. Players take on the role of a university student trying to finish an exam paper during a blizzard, but ultimately encounter an evil force that must be stopped at all costs.
This reference map was included with the original game box and serves as a handy guide to the various buildings and available passages between each (movement in the game is restricted because of the snowstorm). Printed blood spatters and a ‘note’ from a friend add further depth and immersion to the game, which was well-received among critics and players.
