Description

This dramatic topographic map of Arizona was designed by Harriett F. Cobb and published in Phoenix by the Arizona Mapping Company in 1934. Mountain ranges, plateaus, the Grand Canyon, and other geographic features are shown pictorially across the state, highlighting the intense natural beauty.

U.S. and state highways are noted, with “an ideal loop trip for a scenic and cool summer vacation” (verso) highlighted in bright red. Numerous advertisements, distance tables, and descriptions of locations of interest can be seen around the border and on the verso.

Scarce, with no entries in WorldCat and only one copy located online at the Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott, AZ.
