The Great Meteor Crater of Arizona
Fanciful brochure for a privately owned impact crater site in Arizona.

Description
This simple three panel pamphlet uses bold (and unproven) claims to encourage tourism to the privately owned Meteor Crater in Arizona. A transportation map of the American Southwest shows the primary highways in the region, and a cross-section examines the geographic composition of the site.
Accompanying text bills the site as the ‘world’s largest impact crater’ (it’s not, by far) and ‘the first proven meteorite crater.’ This may be true, but one scientist hired to verify the claim became a persona non grata to the owners after encouraging Congress to make the crater a National Park.
