Description
This detailed map of the campus of the University of California is dated 1933 and was presumably issued by the school as a reference guide for students, faculty, and visitors. Buildings are individually outlined and labeled and reflect a rash of recent development prompted by large donations by William Randolph Hearst, John D. Rockefeller, Jr., and others.
Other, less prestigious, landmarks are also identified within the plan, such as oak trees, benches, statues, and more.
