Those who are looking for a map to assist from getting in Point A to Point B are going to be sorely disappointed in this poster of the beautiful Temecula Valley in southern California. Transportation routes are noted, but hardly visible among the myriad of signs advertising a wide variety of local businesses.
Distance scales are obviously absent, but a compass rose can be seen in the center of the hot air balloon. Cartoon figures are engaged in a variety of humorous poses, and anthropomorphic grapes (a specialty of the region) are drawn in a style totally reminiscent of the 1980’s.
