Description
The T206 group of baseball cards, issued between 1909 and 1911, is one of the most widely collected baseball card sets of any era. It’s nicknamed “The Monster” and includes the fantastically scare (and expensive) Honus Wagner card.
This poster is the first of two sheets commemorating the set, published by Sport Americana in the early 1980’s. It doesn’t include the mythical Wagner card, but does include the image of Hall of Fame pitcher Eddie Plank. This card is allegedly extremely scarce because of an early crack in the printing plate.
