Description
You’ll find no scale on this selective panoramic view of Chicago, which shows the city along the coast of Lake Michigan from Loyola University to Jackson Park (home of the 1893 World’s Fair). What you will find, however, is an interesting mix of illustrations related to the five separate bus tours operated by the Chicago Sight-Seeing Company.
The North Side, the South Side, the Grand Tour, the Stockyards and Nite-Life all offer the intrepid traveler a different twist on the Windy City experience. A few highlights include Cubs Ball Park, the Newberry Library, Skid Row, Hobo’s Paradise, the University of Chicago, and the Art Institute. An detailed top down perspective of the Loop, sponsored by Marshall Field & Company, is available on the verso of the brochure.
