Description
The idea of Schweppsylvania started with a print advertisement in 1955, and was the American version of its British counterpart – Schweppshire. This tray was produced in the 1960s and displays many other Schweppes-related locations, including Schweppsas, the Mississchweppi River, Massachuschweppes, and New Schweppsico. The Dust Bowl is featured prominently in the middle of a tray, along with other clever map-related wordplay. On the back of the tray are drink recipes and instructions on how to best make cocktails so as not to squander the “Schweppervesence.”
