Route of the 89th France – Luxembourg – Germany

Simple, yet effective, overview of the WWII campaign of the 89th Infantry Division.

This map of the western European theater boldly depicts the route undertaken by the 89th Infantry Division during World War II. Hashed lines show unopposed marches, while a solid line depicts advance under opposition. Bright red ink identifies major dates, while small illustrations along the route highlight crossings at the Moselle and Rhine Rivers and re-starting the offensive in April.
