A comfortable climate, adequate rainfall, proximity to major markets, and readily arable land are just a few of the amenities that make raising cash crops, livestock, dairy, small grains, and root crops all commercially viable.

The pamphlet also includes a two-sided folding map. One side is a cartoonish outline of Sawyer County showing the primary settlements, transportation routes, and geographic features. The verso presents a soil map of Wisconsin originally issued by the Soo Line, clearly indicating the clover belt in which Sawyer County is comfortably situated.
