Putting Kerouac on the map, literally!

Description
This uncommon promotional poster was designed by Jean-Rene Caron and published in Quebec by the Secretariat Permanent des Peoples Francophones in 1987. That same year, the organization hosted a four-day conference in October to celebrate and discuss the iconic life and work of Jack Kerouac through a variety of media.
The base image presents a road map of Quebec Route 132, with relevant locations to Kerouac’s life circled (St. Hubert, St. Gabriel, and Quebec). References to Lowell, Massachusetts, San Francisco, New York, and Paris are also presented on the edges, along with a Pop-Art-esque photo of the influential author and poet.
