Ravenloft: Realms of Terror

Four map accompaniments for Ravenloft: Realm of Terror.

This quartet of colorful maps presents (a part) of the dynamic setting for the Dungeons & Dragons adventure, Ravenloft. The gothic horror campaign centered on the players battling an evil vampire and was quite popular, spawning several expansions and adaptations.

The maps show the Lands of the Core, the Islands of Terror, and several different locations via two sheets of larger-scale inset plans and diagrams. All four reference sheets were published by TSR, Inc. in 1990.

Tactical Studies Rules (TSR) was founded in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin in 1973 by Gary Gygax and Don Kaye to publish their wargames, quickly pivoting to focus on their groundbreaking tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons. The immense success of D&D in the late 1970s transformed the small company into a major force in the hobby game industry, leading to rapid expansion, a wide range of new products, and the launch of iconic campaign settings like Dragonlance, Ravenloft, and Forgotten Realms.
