Description

Own a piece of Chicago transportation history with this official Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) sign. Dated 1979 in the lower right corner, the image depicts a transportation system that has changed dramatically in the past 40 years.

Operational instructions in the lower left and A, B, and AB stations are just a few indications of such developments. Note that service has not yet been extended to O’Hare, which is shown connected by bus service to the Jefferson Park station.
