Advertised as ‘the most detailed map of Korea available’, this impressive compilation by Rand McNally was ‘especially designed to help you in following events in the crucial Far Eastern theater of operations’ (at least according to the text on the front cover).

The large primary map outlines major transportation infrastructure, settlements, and geographic features according to the legend in the lower left. The rugged terrain is shaded, with corresponding elevation data provided where available, while national borders are highlighted in red. The verso presents seven additional smaller maps of other relevant areas across Asia; including Japan and Korea, the Philippines, China, India, Indonesia, etc.
