Description

Oriented with north slightly to the right (note the compass rose in the lower left, with the fleur-de-lis on the wrong side), this sweeping view presents a detailed profile of Quebec City.

As expected, the text is in French, with street names and various attractions labeled and 49 numbered locations of interest identified in the legend in the upper right. The Chateau Frontenac and Citadels are two that stand out prominently.

A variety of vessels from speedboats to catamarans and even a frigate can be seen cruising the waters of the St. Lawrence River in the foreground.
