Description
Neverwinter Nights, released in 1991, was the first-ever graphically processed massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Though text-based games had been developed prior, it was the first video game in the ground-breaking genre.
This map was published to accompany a remake of the game, released by Bioware for Windows in 2002. Set in the Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms Universe, the game sees the player control a hero who is attempting to cure the city of Neverwinter of a devastating plague. Various locations of interest are noted, with an inset of the capital in the lower right.
