This brightly illustrated map of Portland, Oregon was designed and published in 1997 by myLine Graphics, a licensee of Fiesta Cartoon Maps. The image depicts a simple street plan with dozens of small business advertisements scattered throughout. Profiles of buildings and company logos are interposed between cartoonish figures and vehicles of all shapes and sizes.
A frank disclaimer in the upper right reads, “HEY…THIS IS A CARTOON MAP! IT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR EMERGENCIES…Some things shown may not even exist – remember this map was drawn by people who draw cartoons for a living.”
